Artist and designer, Nora Maité Nieves created My nOma, the Chicago based high-end fashion jewelry line. At My nOma, we take great pride in the selection of quality materials and skillful crafting with adventurous spirit. Our whimsical and asymmetrical designs are eloquent and expressive, while challenging the traditional notions of jewelry design.

Nieves’ attention to detail, sensitivity to texture, use of vibrant color and unconventional materials are a cumulative result of her education and native Caribbean culture. Nieves has a Bachelor of fine Arts in Painting and Graphic Design from Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Fiber and Material Studies from the School of the Art institute of Chicago.

Each one of a kind piece of My nOma jewelry can be worn casually or formally, at work or out at night.
